A scholarship for children from children’s homes and orphans
2. June 2010
Since 1989 has Estonian Children’s Fund given out scholarships for orphans and children from children’s homes that continue their education after grammarschool. There were 133 scholars in 2003 and they studied in 55 different schools all over Estonia.
In 2003 The Gambling Tax Committee decided not to subsidize the project and Estonian Children’s Fund can not afford to pay scholarships in the same amount as before.
We are grateful to our sponsors JCI (Charity competition Rat Race), students from Southwestern program and Priit Press&Lilled flowershop (Rose Project). We wait you to become a sponsor. We are ready to give out a scholarship under Your or Your company’s name. SEB Bank account 10052039573009.

From children's home to university! Uniprint, Estonian Children's Fund and The Charities Foundation started a project in December 2005. Its goal is to make possible for children from children's homes an economically safe environment during studies - a place to live in university-city, aids in learning and monthly managing support. Also, if necessary, the project tries to find resources for orphans' preparation costs in order to get in to the university.
In SEB Bank there is an account opened - 100 520 395 73009 - (Eesti Lastefond) to where transferred amounts with explanation "kõrgkool" will help those young people from children's homes who wish to continue their studies at university.
