Let's help Zhanna to become beautiful!

Zhanna Kaldormina (born in 1986) has lived in Tallinn orphan's home for all her life - her mother gave her away right after her birth.
As a very little girl one of her eyes was where cheek is supposed to be and her nose was also different - like from some cubistic painting of Picasso.
For years now doctors have tried to make her look like other girls. There have been many operations - transplanted skin and bones, put the location of her eyes in order... but still she is remarkably different from other girls in her age. Operations were done according to her growing.
Now Zhanna is an adult and her appearance can finally be changed more beautiful.
With the help of Hannah, a singer in Estonia, Estonian Children's Fund collected 134 000.- Estonian crowns (8 564.- euros) to help Zhanna.
It is difficult to operate Zhanna and these kind of specialists are hard to find in the world. But still - in cooperation between the face and maxillary surgeons in Tallinn and Helsinki, an operation will be done in Helsinki in May 2007 (doctors Jyri Hukki and Pia Saarinen).
Zhanna's face will be changed more shaped, transplanting her own hipbone to her cheekbones. This operation is financed by Estonian Health Insurance Fund. When the operation is done and Zhanna has recovered, her lips will be corrected. Then, together with Zhanna, we hope for the next operations and procedures to continue.
Zhanna is a sweet and hard-working young woman. Of course she is very patient also. This year she will graduate from Vana-Vigala profession-school and will receive chef's papers. Already she is working at a restourant in Tallinn.
