  In my opinion the Estonian teachers' knowledge about ADHD (hyperctivity) is
  good, they know enough and know how to deal with these kids
with blanks, here and there they might need additional training

Support structures for hyperactive children in school.

From 1st October 2009 until 31th of May 2011 EU Social Fund financed Estonian Childrens Fund project "Support structures for hyperactive children in school. During this project many activities like lectures about ADHD, teachings and support groups were held in Estonia.

During the project:
Schooling was held by specialists from Jyväskylä University Additional Schooling Center and total of 60 teachers took part of schooling in Tallinn and Narva.
In all counties of Estonia lectures about ADHD were held in order to increase knowledge about ADHD and gain new ADHD support groups.
There was a competition, where we gathered about 50 stories and tips about ADHD children in school and home- funny stories and managing tips.
We opened website www.ath.ee, which gathers information about ADHD and support groups.
