2. June 2010 For the 21st year we gave educational stipendies to those students in universities who are from orphans homes. The amount of the stipendies was 5000.- Estonian crowns per student this year.
There were 26 stipendees, who were supported altogether with 130 000 crowns. The event took place on the 24th of May 2010 in Tartu Raekoda where diplomas and stipendies were given to students by Tartu Mayor Urmas Kruuse and executive director of Eesti Lastefond Sirje Grossmann-Loot. We are grateful to our sponsors who helped us to collect this money: JCI (charity event Rat Race),students form organisation Southwestern and Priit Press&Lilled flowershop (Rose Project).
