Helpers may have forgotten about it but Zhanna remembers and is grateful

Two years is an eternitiy for someone who has to wait. This time was long both for Estonian Children's Fund and singer Hannah, but for Zhanna it was almost hopeless.
For reminding - a young singer Hannah started together with Estonian Children's Fund a charity campaign in the beginning of 2005 to gather money for Zhanna's face-operations. Zhanna (21) was neglected by her mother right after her birth - she had no sweet face little children usually have. In this campaign Estonian Children's Fund took the role that normally the parents carry - fund had to "bother" the doctors, support Zhanna emotionally and go to consults with Zhanna in order for the operation to take place.
For the doctors it was a difficult task, but also a creative task. There was many opportunities of what to do and how to do the operation.
Today we can say that Jyri Hukki (Helsinki, Töölö hospital) who operated Zhanna on the 23rd of May 2007, is satisfied with the results. Next operation is planned to be in autumn this year.
To doctors Zhanna is a very good patient - she does everything exactly as the doctors say and shows her gratitude and happiness.
Zhanna and Estonian Children's Fund thank all the supporters, Estonian Health Insurance Fund, magazine Kroonika, Hannah and all the doctors who helped to make this operation possible.
