Zhanna is having a difficult operation tomorrow!

Zhanna Kaldormina (20) has grown up in Tallinn Children's Home, her mother gave her away right after the birth of the child. When Zhanna was a little girl, one of her eye was where the cheek should have been, her nose was also different. By now Zhanna has been made tens of operations - transplanted skin and bones etc., but still she is different from other girls at her age.
As a joint cooperation between the surgeons in Tallinn and Helsingi tomorrow, on the 23rd of May 2007 Zhanna will have another operation at Töölon Sairalas in Helsingi. The plastic surgeons are doctors Jyri Hukki and Pia Saarinen. Altogether Zhanna will be at the hospital about a week, recovering from the operation will take about two months.
Her face will be made more shapely, transplanting her own hipbone to her cheekbones. This operation is compensated by Estonian Health Insurance Fund. Later on Zhanna's lips will be corrected. And then, together with Zhanna, we hope to continue with the following beauty procedures.
Zhanna is alovely and workable young lady. Of cource she is very patient. This year she will graduate from Vana-Vigala School and will receive cook's attestation. At the moment she is working as a cook in a restaurant in old Tallinn.
Some years ago with the help of singer Hannah we collected money for the operations, but we are not sure this is enough for all these procedures.
