Support groups start again

13. September 2006
In September 2006 the support groups for parents and teachers with hyperactive kids start again in schools and kindergardens.

A support group is an opened group with an abiding heart for parents and teachers. In a safe environment with the help of group leader can be spoken about one's positive and negative emotions, support each other and learn some new coping methods in raising ADHD child.

The meetings are on weekends or after working-time. Groups meet in Tallinn (Estonian and Russian language), Tartu, Pärnu (Estonian and Russian language), Viljandi, Narva (Russian language), Rakvere, Haapsalu and Rapla. Meetings are regular - once a month.

The participants are parents who haven't visited a docktor and those, whose child already has the diagnosis. Also parents whom it seems like their child is too impatient and unstable.
